Medical Surgical Registered Nurse


MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 Years, Unit accepts first time travelers
PATIENT POPULATION: Adults to Geriatrics
RATIO: 1:5-6
UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC & SBAR
REQUIRED CERTS & SKILLS: ACLS BLS and NIH required; PICC Line management
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
RTO: MAX 7 days, Blocked Scheduling Not Guaranteed
HOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving/Black Friday
Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
New Years Eve/New Years Day
WEEKENDS: 4 shifts a month may not be EOW
FLOATING: *Will float to other departments* If floated to ER or ICU will be assigned MS acuity patients, may entail floating as CNA/tech role
COMPLIANCE: Full compliance required to start on time, if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
Aya Offer Information: Once candidate has signed and confirmation has been sent, manager has 48 hours to review the profile/confirmation and determine if unit/schedule/expertise fit. *Aya Offer only available if clinical pass within RTO guidelines + meets specific facility requirements*.
Locals accepted - same rate Shift Info: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
