On average, the therapist would see 6-7 patients in a 8hr shift in outpatient. The goal is for the therapist to stay in outpatient with our current volume and not travel to inpatient however if volumes drops the therapist would pick up patient’s in inpatient setting. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
