What You Will Do:

As a Solar Field Service Technician, you would be responsible for assisting with solar projects by traveling and appearing on site to find, diagnose, and repair problems with Enphase and SolarEdge solar systems

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Travel to assigned site locations within ESD Solar’s area of coverage

· Find, diagnose, and repair problems with Enphase and SolarEdge solar systems

· Utilize relevant tools such as drills, level, square, tape measure, ladders, diagnostic electrical equipment, etc.

· Run conduit, copper pipe, flex, and pull wire

· Take photos of electrical panels, attic, utility meters, disconnects, transfer switches, batteries, etc. to show proof of work completed

· Fix failures cited in failed inspection reports to ensure the project passes the next scheduled inspection

· Communicate with Production Manager

· Use a phone/tablet to accurately gather photos and information on the Housecall Pro/SiteCapture app

· Communicate with Fleet Coordinator regarding vehicle maintenance

· Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with all customers

· Follow company safety policies

· Work in a fast paced, demanding work environment

· Be on time to each appointment and communicate in advance with the Production Manager if timelines cannot be met

· Communicate with employees in a timely manner if additional information is required

· Perform other related duties, as required

For this role, you will need:

· Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

· Must be able to climb a ladder and work on a steep sloped roof

· Must be willing to get in a crawl space/attic

· Must be willing to work on your feet for long periods of time

· Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance

· Must be willing to work outside during all 4 seasons of the year

· Good communication and interpersonal skills, required

· High attention to detail, required

· Good vehicle background and driver’s license, required

· You will need to provide your own tools

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

· Full-time

· Day shift Monday – Friday

· Weekends (as needed)

Experience:

· Solar: 1 year experience (Required)

· Electrical: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

· Driver's License (Required)
