Star Extruded Shapes , Canfield, Ohio, an industry leading aluminum extrusion supplier, is hiring for the position of Sales Engineer

This is an entry-level position with significant growth opportunity. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious individual who is looking for promotion to field Sales or management roles

Job Duties:

• Supporting Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing and Customer Service through direct and indirect processing of information
• Assist Star with prospective lead generation, using tools provided by the company, and under the direct supervision of Sales Management
• Gain a thorough understanding of the Star business, spending time in all departments and operations. A detailed orientation and training program will be provided
• Use the learned technical and sales knowledge to be able to confidently interact with customers, vendors and other Star employees
• Occasional travel in the field with Sales or Management personnel

Background & Qualifications Benefits:

• College graduate or short time work experience, with a 4-year degree from an accredited university
• Engineering degree preferred, however will consider Marketing also
• Strong communication skills - phone and in-person. Ability to present information in an organized manner
• Excellent computer skills, with familiarity of the Microsoft Office suite of products - Word, PowerPoint, Excel

This is an office-based position in Canfield, OH.

Monday thru Friday 8AM-5PM including a 1-hour lunch break

Base salary range is $50-60,000 with bonus opportunity based on company performance.
