For over a century, Radio Flyer has served as the first set of wheels for generations of kids. We have helped inspire creative play as wagons transformed into rocket ships, race cars and airplanes, transporting children anywhere they imagined. Now, with over a billion Radio Flyer wheels on the road, we have introduced a retail experience that aligns with our mission to bring smiles to kids of all ages. A place to experience firsthand the magic of our products, including our newest line of FLYER™ eBikes and scooters.

The Radio Flyer Store provides the ultimate brand experience with unique play spaces for kids of all ages to try products like Go-Karts and Scooters on our specially designed Race Track, as well as a free FLYER™ eBike test ride experience. Customers can utilize our friendly-staffed Service Center to assemble new Radio Flyer and FLYER™ products. Not to mention, The Radio Flyer Store visitors can get their hands on exclusive products, available only in-store. We are excited for our fans to interact with our brand like never before at the Radio Flyer Store!

Opportunity:

The Associate Merchandiser will climb aboard as Radio Flyer embarks on this exciting new adventure into retail! The Associate Merchandiser will play an important role in contributing to a positive and inclusive environment that brings the Radio Flyer brand and Vision, Mission & Values to life for all customers. As a merchandiser, this person will be responsible for maintaining visual displays & signage, delivering a consistent “Little Red Rule” experience to guests and will contribute to store operational excellence.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with store and brand communications teams to merchandise window displays to promote seasonal or promotional items.
• Own and execute signage audits in the store. Ensure signage is accurate, organized and meets Radio Flyer visual standards.
• Deliver Radio Flyer “FUNatical,” World-Class Service to create personalized experiences that delight customers. Create customer service resolutions with grace and effectiveness.
• Drive operational excellence within the store by executing standard operating procedures and contributing to meeting expectations including but not limited to sales, inventory management, visual merchandising, and safety.
• Work cross-functionally in the stock room to achieve operational excellence by executing product assemblies, assisting guests with pick-ups, receiving, and inspecting incoming shipments, ensuring product is stored in the proper location and providing an overall safe and accessible back of house environment.
• Be a brand ambassador and promote a positive and inclusive environment to live Radio Flyer’s Vision, Mission & Values.
• Contribute to the Store sales and profit by displaying exemplary sales generation techniques.
• Connect with the community by participating in engaging store events.

Qualifications:

• High attention to detail and organization skills. Possesses creative solutions to merchandising.
• Exceptional customer service skills, including a genuine ability to engage and interact with store guests.
• Must have a “Can Do” Attitude; possess a high energy level with the capability of remaining cool under pressure. This candidate must be honest and have a high degree of integrity.
• Available to work a variety of hours, averaging 20/week, to meet the needs of the business, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs. and mobilize large items while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
• Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time.
