Role Description

We are looking for a part-time or full-time Dermatology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Bethesda, MD. The provider will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing both acute and chronic skin diseases.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A minimum of one year of experience in Dermatology
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Dermatology is a plus
• Previous experience in primary care settings
• DEA License
• Active MD or compact state license

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough dermatological assessments, including patient history and skin examinations
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as skin biopsies and patch tests, to diagnose skin conditions
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients with dermatological disorders, such as acne, eczema, and psoriasis
• Assist with dermatological procedures, including skin lesion removals and cryotherapy
• Provide patient education on skin health, sun protection, and skincare routines
