We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-detailed Permanent Accountant to join our vibrant finance team. This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in finance and accounting, who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Accountant, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:
1. Performing daily accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries, and record payments and adjustments.
2. Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
3. Assisting with annual audit preparations.
4. Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
5. Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
6. Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.
7. Ensuring all financial operations are in compliance with legal and company regulations.
8. Assisting in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.
9. Analyzing financial information to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Accountant position should possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional skills in Excel.
4. Experience with accounting software and databases.
5. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high levels of accuracy.
6. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
7. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to communicate complex financial data in a clear and concise manner.
9. A strong work ethic, with the ability to meet pressing deadlines.
10. A proactive approach to work, with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
